A lovely abstract impression of the Mary Schenley Fountain at the University of Pittsburgh and the surrounding sycamore trees done in shimmering iridescent oil paint. I am so in love with this grove of sycamore trees (Osiris' coffin was of sycamore), especially in winter when their dancing shapes are so beautifully revealed. The central fountain is of the god Pan -- in summer, a place for University of Pittsburgh students to cool their toes and play.
